Dr. Hunt

Dr. Hunt earned both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Doctor of Surgery from McGill University.  After graduation, Dr. Hunt did a one year hospital residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.  She then practiced general dentistry in Montreal from 1985 to 1989.  At that time, Dr. Hunt moved to Ottawa and worked for a time in the Regional Municipality of Ottawa Carleton’s Dental Clinic.  In 1989 she took over a practice on Carling Avenue just a short distance from where she is currently practicing. 

Dr. Hunt relocated in July of 1997 to Westgate Shopping Centre to allow her patients easier accessibility to the modern office at Westgate.  Dr. Hunt enjoys the continuing education challenges of dentistry and stays “in touch” with the changing dental trends through various courses and literature from the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario. 

In her spare time she enjoys walks with her newly-acquired basset hound, or relaxing at home with her two cats.  Her various hobbies include reading, stitching, learning Welsh and a variety of paper crafts.
